Modify Facebook Page Name
Objective
- Modify Facebook Page Name.
- Note: Facebook Page Name refers to the title of your page and the name when people tag you in their posts or photos.

Step-By-Step Guideline
1. Go to your Facebook page
2. Click [[ About ]] on the left side of your Page
3. Under General Session, click [[ Edit ]] beside name
4. Please follow the rules when creating Facebook page name
Do
- Use a name that up to 75 characters
- Use a name that accurately represents what this Page is about
- Match the name of your business, brand or organisation
- Correct capitalization and may not include all capital letters, except for acronyms
Do Not
- Mislead people by representing a person, business or organisation other than your own
- Any variation of the word “Facebook” or include the word “official”
- Use terms or phrases that may be abusive or violate someone’s rights
- Include symbols (example: ® ) or unnecessary punctuation
- Descriptions or slogans
- Generic words (example: Marketing)
- Generic geographic locations (example: Hong Kong)
5. Click [[ Continue ]] after entering your page name
6. Verify the Facebook Page Name you’ve type.
7. Click [[ Request Change ]] beside name.
Note: It may take up to 3 days or more for Facebook to review the request. Once your change request is approved, you will receive an email from Facebook, and your page fans will see a notification of the name change.

1. Go to your Facebook page
2. Click [[ About ]] on the left side of your Page
3. Under General Session, click [[ Edit ]] beside Username
4. Please follow the rules when creating Facebook Page Username
Do
- Use a username that up to 50 characters
- Have only one username for your Page or profile
- Contain only alphanumeric characters (A-Z, 0-9) or a period (“.”)
- Use a username that at least 5 characters long
Do Not
- Claim a username someone else is already using
- Contain generic terms or extensions (ex: .com, .net)
5. Click [[ Create Username ]] after entering your username
6. Click [[ OK ]] .
7. Done.
